WHY JOIN THE FAIR HOUSING MOVEMENT?

Because you can make a difference! The creation of fair, inclusive communities depends on the support of people from all walks of life. We’ve made great strides towards a more just society, but there’s a lot of work yet to do. Your involvement is crucial! We thank you for your support. 

VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES

Fair Housing Council volunteers and members support fair housing work by:

  • Assisting in investigations of illegal housing discrimination

  • Educating elected and public officials on local, state and national levels

  • Speaking on behalf of the Fair Housing Council and its satellite offices before other organizations

  • Helping encourage public support for fair housing efforts

  • Providing financial assistance
