
FREE FAIR HOUSING TRAININGS
We offer free trainings throughout Wisconsin for housing providers, service providers, and local residents.
Training Description and Eligibility
Free fair housing trainings are supported by local Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. In order to attend a training, you must meet one of the following criteria:​

You own or manage rental properties located in the jurisdiction where the training is taking place.

You work for a service provider or advocacy organization located in or serving residents in the jurisdiction where the training is taking place.

You live in the jurisdiction where the training is taking place.

If you are interested but do not meet the above criteria, please contact our office at 414-278-1240 to inquire about additional training opportunities.
Attendance is free, but advance registration is required.
The seminars will cover a wide range of fair housing topics, including:

Local, state, and federal fair housing laws

Advertising units in compliance with fair housing law
-
Non-discriminatory negotiation with prospective tenants
-
Interacting with current tenants in a fair and legal manner
-
Reasonable accommodations and modifications for tenants with disabilities
