WHAT IS A HOUSING MOBILITY PROGRAM?

Many housing mobility programs assist families with rent assistance or Housing Choice Vouchers (HCVs) find rental housing in safe neighborhoods with access to high-performing schools. Mobility programs may also advocate for policy changes on the part of the public housing authorities that provide HCVs or other rent assistance, in order to increase the availability of available units in high-opportunity areas. ​
