Housing Authorities

The goal of increasing families’ access to opportunity rich neighborhoods is shared by the Fair Housing Council, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee, the Milwaukee County Housing Authority, and the Waukesha Housing Authority.

  • The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) - HACM's Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), or rent assistance, program is recruiting eligible HCV families for enrollment in Opportunity MKE.  HACM is responsible for administering over 5,800 vouchers.

  • Waukesha Housing Authority (WHA) - WHA will assist in recruiting eligible HCV families for enrollment in Opportunity MKE. WHA administers over 1,200 vouchers.
