Membership Agreement
As a member, you agree to support our mission to promote fair housing throughout the State of Wisconsin by combating illegal housing discrimination and by creating and maintaining racially and economically integrated housing patterns. Further, you agree to support MMFHC’s enforcement actions to remedy fair housing violations, our outreach and education activities, and our work to build inclusive communities that expand housing choices for all.
MMFHC may rescind membership of parties who do not abide by the Membership Agreement. In the event any member, spouse or family member has a personal or financial interest that may create a conflict of interest under this Membership Agreement, the member must disclose that information. Members of the housing industry (for example, real estate professionals, rental housing providers, insurance agents, lenders, appraisers, and others involved in the provision of housing) are welcome to be members and support fair housing activities but are not eligible to be voting members due to potential conflicts of interest.
No matter what membership category fits you, we welcome your donations above the stated dues as you are able.
MMFHC believes that financial constraints should not be a barrier to membership. You may be eligible for a Restricted Income Membership if you are a full-time student, a senior citizen on a fixed income, or your annual household income is below $50,000. Upon request, membership dues may be waived by MMFHC’s Board of Directors. Questions? Let us know.
